Who would have known that a simple walk with the dog would turn into such an ordeal for him. Yesterday while out for our morning walk, the dog had some type of seizure or reaction to something. He seemed to recover and we continued on the walk. A few minutes later he had severe stomach problems. Again he seemed fine afterwards, so we continued on home. I watched him all day to make sure that he had recovered alright and saw no signs (other than needing to go out more frequently than usual) that there was anything amiss. Well, this morning, when I went down to take him out, his face was swollen to twice it's normal size. His eyes were almost swollen shut and he looked really misserable. A trip to the vet and 3 shots later, he seems to be recovering quite nicely. Evidently he had a severe reaction to an insect bite of some kind (we are not sure what??) and now whenever we go for a walk, we have to carry an epi-pen. The first picture is him a few days before the whole ordeal, and the second is him today. Most of the swelling is gone now, but you can still see where his lips and eyes are puffy.

Okay Okay Okay enough about the dog, when are we going to get back to you? This is where I find out everything that I have missed all of these years.

He looks absolutely pitiful. Poor thing. Glad he's feeling better. Andy always has a fit when one of our cats get sick and I take them in...Glad Mark loves the puppy as much as you.
